How to Play
- Stakes set 40 feet apart (can adjust for casual play)
- Stand beside one stake, pitch toward the other
- Ringer (around stake) = 3 points
- Leaner (touching stake) = 2 points (some variants count as 1)
- Closest shoe to stake = 1 point (within 6 inches)
- Cancellation scoring: only closest player scores
- Games typically to 21 or 40 points
- Shoes must be pitched underhand
- Two shoes per turn
- Opponent pitches both shoes, then measure
