A Lithuanian trick-taking game also called Kozel. Features a unique trump determination based on bidding and specialized card ranking with the 9 of trump being second-highest.

How to Play

  1. Use 24-card deck (9 through Ace)
  2. Card ranking: Trump=J, 9, A, 10, K, Q; Plain=A, 10, K, Q, J, 9
  3. Deal 6 cards to each player
  4. Bidding: Decide who plays to win and chooses trump
  5. Minimum bid is 'pass'; can bid 'game' or higher
  6. Highest bidder names trump suit
  7. Play 6 tricks; must follow suit if possible
  8. Highest trump wins; else highest led suit wins
  9. Point values: A=11, 10=10, K=4, Q=3, J=2
  10. Total points in deck = 120
  11. Bidder must achieve bid to score; else loses points
  12. First to 120 cumulative points wins match
