About This Game

A climbing card game designed specifically for 2-3 players, inspired by Tichu. Players shed cards in combinations, with wild cards adding tactical depth and point scoring for captured cards.

How to Play

  1. Use special deck: 2-10 in 5 suits (45 cards) + J, Q, K as wild cards
  2. Deal 14 cards each (2 players); remaining form 'haggis'
  3. Wild cards (J=2, Q=3, K=5) given to each player
  4. Leader plays combination: single, pair, run, set, or bomb
  5. Others must play same type but higher, or pass
  6. Bombs beat everything: 3-5-7-9, J-Q-K, suited sequence 3-4-5-6-7-8-9
  7. Last to play leads next round
  8. First to empty hand scores: opponent's remaining card points
  9. Winner also captures the haggis (worth points)
  10. Card values: 3,5,7,9=1pt; J=2, Q=3, K=5; others=0
  11. Match to 250 points
  12. Betting on going out first adds strategic layer
