The ancestor of Cribbage, simpler but sharing many features. Players score points for combinations in hand and during play.

How to Play

  1. Use 52-card deck
  2. Deal 3 cards each
  3. Turn up one card for starter
  4. Score hand combinations before play:
  • Pair = 2, Pair Royal (3) = 6, Double Pair Royal (4) = 12
  • Fifteen = 2, Sequence of 3+ = per card
  1. 'Noddy' (Jack same suit as starter) = 2
  2. Play cards alternating, counting to 31
  3. Score 2 for reaching 31 exactly
  4. 1 for 'go' (opponent can't play)
  5. Score combinations made during play
  6. First to 31 points wins
