An English pub game similar to Truc. Players race to win tricks while deciding whether to accept raises or fold. The twist: you can 'put' to force a showdown.

How to Play

  1. Use 52-card deck
  2. Deal 3 cards each
  3. Card ranking: 3-2-A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4 (3 highest!)
  4. Play tricks: higher card wins, suits don't matter
  5. First to win 2 tricks scores a point
  6. Can 'put' to raise stakes (opponent folds or accepts)
  7. If opponent folds, you win the point
  8. Ties on tricks go to next trick's winner
  9. If all 3 tricks tie, dealer wins
  10. First to 5 points wins
