About This Game

A Greek fishing game where capturing the table with a single matching card scores a 'xeri' bonus. Strategic timing of xeri attempts is key.

How to Play

  1. Use 52-card deck
  2. Deal 6 cards each, 4 face-up on table
  3. If 4 jacks dealt to table, redeal
  4. Play one card to capture matching rank
  5. Jacks capture everything
  6. If table cleared by single card match = xeri (10 points)
  7. Jack sweep is not a xeri
  8. When hands empty, deal 6 more (no new table cards)
  9. Score: most cards (4), 10♦ (3), 2♣ (2), each ace (1), xeris (10)
  10. First to 41 points wins
