The Spanish version of Scopa, where players try to 'sweep' the table by capturing cards that sum to 15. A beloved game throughout the Spanish-speaking world.

How to Play

**Setup:** Use 40-card Spanish deck (or standard deck without 8, 9, 10). Deal 3 cards each. Place 4 cards face-up on table.

**Gameplay:**

  1. Play one card to capture table cards summing to your card's value (A=1, J=8, Q=9, K=10)
  2. You can take multiple combinations adding to your card's value
  3. Capturing ALL table cards is an "Escoba" (sweep) - worth 1 point
  4. If no capture, your card joins the table
  5. When hands empty, deal 3 more each until deck is gone

**Scoring (Primiera):**

  • Most cards: 1 point
  • Most diamonds (oros): 1 point
  • 7 of diamonds: 1 point
  • Most sevens (or highest primiera): 1 point
  • Each escoba: 1 point

**Winning:** First to 11 or 21 points.
