Pineapple Open Face Chinese Poker

**Overview:**

Pineapple OFC is a fast-paced variant of Open Face Chinese Poker. Players receive three cards per turn instead of one, must discard one card after placing two, and aim to build optimal hands across three rows: Top (3 cards), Middle (5 cards), and Bottom (5 cards). The core rule is that the Bottom hand must be stronger than the Middle, and the Middle must be stronger than the Top. Violating this results in a foul, costing the player 6 points.

**Setup:**

1. Use a standard 52-card deck
2. Each player receives 5 cards to start
3. Place all 5 cards face-up in your three rows

**Gameplay:**

1. After initial placement, draw 3 cards each turn
2. Place 2 cards in any rows, discard 1 face-down
3. Continue until all 13 cards are placed
4. Cards cannot be moved once placed
5. Bottom must beat Middle, Middle must beat Top

**Fouling:**

1. If rows are not in correct strength order = foul
2. Fouling loses all rows and costs 6 points

**Fantasyland:**

1. Enter Fantasyland with QQ+ in Top row (no foul)
2. In Fantasyland, receive all 13 cards at once
3. Set hand face-down for strategic advantage
4. Stay in Fantasyland by earning 10+ royalty points:

• Trips in Top
• Full House+ in Middle
• Four of a Kind+ in Bottom

**Progressive Pineapple (variant):**

1. Higher Top hands grant more Fantasyland cards:

• QQ = 13 cards (standard)
• KK = 15 cards
• AA = 16 cards
• Trips = 17 cards

• Pair of 6s: 1 pt | 7s: 2 pts | 8s: 3 pts
• Pair of 9s: 4 pts | 10s: 5 pts | Js: 6 pts

• Three of a Kind: 20 pts

*Middle Row (5 cards):*

• Straight: 4 pts | Flush: 8 pts
• Full House: 12 pts | Four of a Kind: 20 pts
• Straight Flush: 30 pts | Royal Flush: 50 pts

*Bottom Row (5 cards):*

• Straight: 2 pts | Flush: 4 pts
• Full House: 6 pts | Four of a Kind: 10 pts
• Straight Flush: 15 pts | Royal Flush: 25 pts

**Scoring:**

1. Winning a row: +1 point
2. Scoop (win all 3 rows): +6 points (3 line + 3 bonus)
3. Ties: 0 points for that row
4. Royalties stack with line wins
