Tonk

**Setup:** Deal 5 cards each. Each player antes. Stock and discard pile in center.

**Gameplay:**

1. Draw from stock or discard
2. Meld "spreads" (3-4 same rank or 3+ run in suit) to the table
3. "Hit" existing spreads by adding matching cards
4. Discard to end turn

**Dropping:** If your hand totals 49 or 50 on initial deal, immediately "drop" and win double.

**Going Out ("Tonking"):** When your hand totals 11 or less after discarding, call "Tonk!"

• If no one has lower, you win the pot
• If someone has lower or equal, you pay double to the pot

**Winning:** Empty your hand, or have lowest count when someone tonks.
