About This Game

A draw and discard game from Israel where players try to minimize their hand value. When you believe you have the lowest total, call 'Yaniv' to end the round. Also known as Jhyap in Nepal.

How to Play

  1. Deal 5 cards to each player
  2. Place remaining deck face-down, flip one to start discard pile
  3. On your turn: draw one card (from deck or discard), then discard
  4. You can discard: single card, set of equal cards, or run of 3+ same suit
  5. When drawing from discards, you may only take the first or last card of a set/run
  6. Call 'Yaniv' when your hand totals 7 or less
  7. If you have the lowest total, you score 0; others score their hand value
  8. If someone equals or beats your total, you get 30-point penalty (Asaf)
  9. First to 200 points is eliminated; last player standing wins
