About This Game

Guess the secret word. Like Mastermind but with letters. Logical word deduction.

How to Play

  1. One player thinks of a 4-letter word (no repeated letters)
  2. Other player guesses a 4-letter word
  3. Codemaker responds:
  • 'Hit' for each correct letter in the correct position
  • 'Near' for each correct letter in the wrong position
  1. Use logic to narrow down the word
  2. Continue guessing until the word is found or 10 guesses are used
  3. Score: 10 minus the number of guesses used
  4. Swap roles and play again
  5. Highest score wins the match
