About This Game

Build ancient civilizations by rolling dice for resources. Develop cities and monuments.

How to Play

  1. Each player has a peg board tracking cities, developments, and monuments
  2. Roll dice equal to your number of cities (start with 3)
  3. Keep any dice, re-roll others up to 2 times
  4. Resolve all dice:
  • Food: feed your people
  • Workers: build cities or monuments
  • Coins: buy developments
  • Goods: trade for coins or score points
  • Skulls: cause disasters (to you and opponents)
  1. Developments give special abilities and points
  2. Monuments give large point bonuses (first to build scores more)
  3. Game ends when all monuments are built or a player has 5 developments
  4. Most victory points wins
