About This Game
A elegant chess-like game with a twist: movement cards define how pieces can move, and these cards rotate between players throughout the game.
How to Play
- 5x5 board; each player has 4 students and 1 master
- 5 movement cards in play (2 each, 1 waiting)
- On your turn: use one of your cards to move any piece
- Cards show possible movements relative to the piece
- Capture by moving to opponent's space
- After moving, your used card goes to waiting; waiting card becomes yours
- Win by capturing opponent's master (Way of the Stone)
- Or by moving your master to opponent's temple (Way of the Stream)
- Temple = opponent's master starting square
