About This Game

Tactical dungeon crawler with legacy elements. More accessible intro to Gloomhaven.

How to Play

  1. Choose characters (each with unique abilities and starting cards)
  2. Set up the scenario map using the included scenario book
  3. Each round: secretly select 2 ability cards from your hand
  4. Reveal simultaneously — initiative number on lead card determines turn order
  5. On your turn: play both cards (top of one, bottom of another)
  • Top: usually attack actions
  • Bottom: usually movement actions
  1. After use, cards go to discard or lost pile (lost cards are gone for good)
  2. Rest to recover discards (but lose 1 card permanently)
  3. Complete the scenario objective before running out of cards or health
  4. Campaign: scenarios link together with story progression and character upgrades
