About This Game

Two-player version of the classic shape-fitting game. Place polyominoes to claim territory.

How to Play

  1. Each player has 21 polyomino pieces of their color (all different shapes)
  2. First piece must cover the marked starting dot on the 14x14 board
  3. Take turns placing one piece per turn
  4. Each new piece must touch at least one corner of your own pieces
  5. Your pieces may never share an edge with another piece of your own color
  6. Your pieces CAN share edges with opponent's pieces
  7. If you cannot place any piece, you pass
  8. Game ends when neither player can place
  9. Score: count squares on unplaced pieces (negative). Least negative wins
  10. Bonus: +15 if all pieces placed, +5 more if last piece was the single square
