Knock down wooden pins with a ball. Precursor to modern bowling.

How to Play

  1. Set up 9 wooden pins in a diamond formation
  2. Mark a throwing line 20-30 feet away
  3. Each player gets 3 throws per turn with a wooden ball
  4. Knock down as many pins as possible
  5. Score 1 point per pin knocked down
  6. Reset pins after each player's turn
  7. If all 9 pins are knocked down, bonus throw
  8. First to the target score wins (usually 50 or 100)
  9. Variation: score the number ON each knocked-down pin
