About This Game

An asymmetric card-driven game recreating the Watergate scandal. One player is Nixon trying to survive, the other is the press trying to connect evidence to the President.

How to Play

  1. One player is the Nixon Administration, the other is the Editor (Washington Post)
  2. Play cards for their event text OR their value (initiative, investigation, momentum)
  3. Editor tries to connect evidence tokens to informants on the evidence board
  4. Nixon tries to block connections and gain momentum
  5. Each round: alternate playing cards, pulling tokens toward your side of the tug-of-war tracks
  6. Editor wins by connecting 2 evidence tokens to the same informant
  7. Nixon wins by building enough momentum (reaching the end of the momentum track)
  8. After 5 rounds, Nixon wins if the Editor hasn't completed their investigation
